Hard to believe we are half way through the month of January already with no snow on the island as of yet. Hopefully the weather will continue to be in our favor.
Up in West Tisbury on this cloudy Wednesday I visited the Trotter’s Lane site where the counters are now all in place just waiting on the counter tops. The trim work has been completed. The painting should start soon as will the decking on the outside. Not too much longer before the owners will be in their new cozy cape!
On Mayflower Lane the exterior work continues the trim is in progress than they will start to shingle. The great room steal is now in place and the walls are being framed up now and the sub floor has been laid.
In Oak Bluffs on Winemak the trim is complete. The second and third floor stairs will be stained starting later this week. The electricians and plumbers were working diligently while I was there.
On the Oak Bluffs harbor at our East Chop renovation project the new supporting foundation structure has been installed.
My last stop of the day was at the Barnes Road job site where the utilities are currently going in for the house that is coming on Friday the 25th! Not much to photograph but the foundation and holes in the ground. Next week will be a different story.
Keep up the good work crew and we will continue to hope for good weather to keep our projects rolling!
