Out with the Old…

Squash Meadow recently launched a new website and it looks bright and fresh. Sadly we lost a lot of our blogs in the process which is a bummer but the new layout is worth it! We hope the new website is more user friendly to our clients.

Here is a synopsis of whats been happening at Squash Meadow recently…

Yesterday was Squash Meadow Construction’s first full day back to work after the island wide work stoppage since Mid-March. We are strictly adhering to the Phase 1 Guidelines written by the back to work committee, passed our initial inspections, have all the required wash stations, sanitizers, PPE for crew, completing our daily logs and cleaning. We understand this is a first step with the two-man per site limit but it is a step we can all live with to make sure everyone is safe and to stop this pandemic.

At the beginning of March we had set a new house on pylons in Vineyard Haven. The crew yesterday was working on buttoning up the exterior and will begin siding in the next few weeks.

Cannot wait to see the outcome of this house!

In Oak Bluffs on Spruce Ave. the exterior is almost finished with siding and decking. Next the subs will be going in one at a time to do the finish plumbing, heating, counter tops and painting.  More photos to come as the progress continues.

The finish carpenter is at the Hampson Ave. property working on the custom stairs. The painters are almost complete.  The owners soon will be able to move in their furniture and begin their landscaping for the summer!

Everyone is working hard during this difficult time and we truly appreciate everyones hard work and dedication.  Stay safe and healthy and see you again soon!
