The island is bustling with tourists and summer residence. The traffic has increased dramatically. The wait in line at the grocery store grows longer. The next 10 weeks will be crazy than things will return back to the normal way of life for us year round folks.

We have been busy with our new client meetings again this past week. Before you know it more modular jobs will be arriving on the island.

Permitting is underway for our next three jobs. We have one coming up in Edgartown near down town and two in Oak Bluffs.

The Mayflower Lane project that was set back in January is almost complete. The kitchen has been installed. The flooring has been installed. Some interior painting has begun. The owner will be moving in before we know it! Check out some progress photos.

Have a happy, safe, fun 4th of July next week!!

The island is bustling with people and traffic, school is out now just waiting on the weather to cooperate with us. We have been very busy!

The East Chop renovation is 99% complete there are a few odds and ends here and there but the owners have received their occupancy certificate and furniture has been moved in! Here were some of the photos before the furniture arrived. Once all the furniture is set up I will take final photos! The owners will be able to enjoy summer on the Vineyard in their newly renovated home!

In Vineyard Haven the kitchen has been installed the flooring sub contractors are in there as we speak staining the floor. Once the floor is stained the finish carpenter will begin working on the stairs, newel posts and handrails. Photos to come once the floors are dry!

We have had a handful of design meetings. New modulars will be on order by the end of the month. Squash Meadow project managers have been to several town meeting boards for ZBA and historical committees getting permits for the next round of homes to be set.

Today two of our staff is attending a Massachusetts educational meeting regarding modular homes and permitting.
