Set in October of last year and finished on by January 1, This LEED certified ‘Silver’ Modular Home is nestled into the back roads of East Chop in Oak Bluffs, MA and is the second of only two homes in OB to ever achieve a LEED certification (The other also built by Squash Meadow).

SMC has announced the completion of their third LEED (Leadership Energy Environmental Design) Home on Martha’s Vineyard. This is the second awarded engergy efficient home in the Oak Bluffs area with only two LEED homes built in the OB area with SMC designed & constructed both. Company President, Bill Potter said, “We are proud to offer a engergy efficient designed & built home within a tight budget to our customer”.

SMC Company President Bill Potter, attended a round-table discussion group August 2 in Enfield, CT to discuss marketing and customer satisfaction. The select group were representatives from other modular home builders throughout New England. The group was an all day event sponsored by Westchester Modular Homes and chaired by John Colucci, Vice-President of Sales for the manufacturer. The focus on the group was how to better serve our clients and to answer concerns and questions. Another group has been tentatively scheduled for the fall and will be held on Martha’s Vineyard.
