We hope everyone has a happy and healthy Thanksgiving!  

(Our office will be closed the rest of the week to give our crew a much needed break. )

Mayflower Drive: Even though it is a short work week the excavation has been done and the footings are being poured. Set date for the modular boxes to arrive is December 13th.

 

At the Winemack job in Oak Bluffs the dry wallers are working hard to finish up for the carpentry crew to come in and start adding trim and painting.  More photos to come next week.

Edgewood Drive, Edgartown the crew is completing the trim and painting and wood flooring.  The plumber will be installing faucets and other fixtures this up coming week.

Site work has begun on a new build on Barnes Road, Oak Bluffs.  Trees are being removed. The set date will be coming up in January for this home.

Up in West Tisbury the appliances arrived at the Bailey’s Park home and the gas company has come in to install and inspect.

On Trotter’s Lane, West Tisbury we have the insulation company FIT at the site, the electricians and carpentry crew continuing to add cedar shingles to the side of the home.

Happy Fall! We have been very busy here at Squash Meadow setting a new home approximately once a month this past year.  We currently have 7 major jobs that are in various stages of completion. Check out what has been keeping us so busy! Today we will visit job sites in Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven and West Tisbury.

Starting in Edgartown we have Edgewood Drive:  Currently the home’s exterior is ready to go, all the shingles are on, decking and screened in porch has been completed. The outdoor shower finished.    Inside the cabinets have been installed in the kitchen.  The flooring is in progress and almost done.  The painters are working on the trim and next will do the walls.  Check back next week to see what progress has been made. We hope to have the owners in my Christmas.

 

 

Red house on East Chop: We are working with the engineer and some exploratory gut work has been started.

Winemack on East Chop: Lots and lots of work at this home.  The electricians are installing lighting, the crew is almost done with the shingling and exterior work. The insulation has been installed and next step is the dry wall crew to come in. It is a cold day to be outside shingling, stay warm crew!

 

 

Mayflower Lane: Squash Meadow’s next modular set will be coming in December. Currently site work is in progress. The land has been staked and next week the foundation should be poured.

 

Delano Road, Vineyard Haven.  Did a drive by and owners are almost ready to move in! Certificate of occupancy is due any day now. Full house photos of the house to come in the near future once the happy owners are settled in place.

Continuing up island we have two more homes to talk about as the weather begins to change and the temperatures begin to drop.

Trotter’s Lane: This home was set about a month ago and the team is working on the shingles being placed on the outside.  Rough work for the plumbing and electrical has been completed. Does not look like much but progress has been made but it has.  Next up will be….flooring.

    

Last stop of the day…

Bailey’s Park Road: Work is almost finished here and let me tell you the flooring looks fabulous.  Counter-tops are in.  Appliances due to arrive on site in the next week.  This home is in the final stages and owners will be in soon enjoying their new place.
