Quick update!

Happy April!  Hoping for warmer weather and sunshine this month! Here is a quick update on our current projects.

The Circuit Avenue, Oak Bluffs home insulation is complete, drywall has started. Exterior corner boards that were special ordered have arrived on site.

The Oak Bluffs East Chop renovation has had the counter tops in the kitchen installed this week. The interior painting is 90% complete. The kemper on part of the roofs is in progress.

Up in West Tisbury at the garage addition the insulation is complete and the contractors are working on the entrances to the breezeway and side of the garage. Counter top in the bathroom was installed by Skyline Marble and Granite. Drywall to start next week.

Also, in West Tisbury the modular on Christiantown Road is having the counter tops templated next week.  The cable rail on the decking has been completed. The outside shower is done. Inside contractors are hanging doors and trim.  Painters will be starting soon.

At the last West Tisbury property on Kaitlyn Farm Way the property is tying up loose ends to call in for final inspection and get the certificate of occupancy!

Moving on to Edgartown we have the property we set a few weeks ago now has electric to the site. The exterior trim and soffits are going up. The garage floor concrete has been poured and the rough plumbing has been completed and called in for inspection.

Last but not least our 100th home being set in Edgartown on Division Road has been cleared, site has been staked by the engineers and the excavation has begun. The engineers will come stake the hole next week and the foundation will start towards the end of next week.

Squash Meadow’s 100th Modular set!

Squash Meadow is excited to set our 100th home on Martha’s Vineyard!    On June 7th the home will be set in Edgartown on Division Road.  The site work has begun on the lot.  Clearing and tree removal.  The excavation will begin towards the end of next week. The home is set for production in the Westchester Modular factory starting the week of May 8th.  Throughout the process we will post blogs, photos and video’s to share the experience.

At the home we set in Edgartown in March things are coming along. Carpentry Crews continue on exterior. Basement slab was poured this morning. Scheduled to pour garage floor today.

Spring is in the air!

This week flew by and hard to believe next week will be spring!

On East Chop in Oak Bluffs at the renovation project carpentry on the back side interior of the house has been completed and painters have started. Exterior siding continues and carpentry continues in upstairs bedrooms and baths. The kitchen cabinets have been installed.

 

We are very busy here, trying to wrap up some projects, some new projects starting. We hope everyone has a happy spring!

 

Westchester Modular Homes house number 8000 coming soon to Martha’s Vineyard!

Westchester Modular Homes is building house number 8000 which happens to be Squash Meadow’s one hundredth home.
