The temperature on the island has dropped and its chilly, next week we are looking at negative temps with the wind chill. Our crews are trying to get all the exterior work completed to move everyone inside!
In Vineyard Haven we have two modular homes in progress. One on Lagoon Pond Road and one on Mink Meadows Road. Here is an update on those jobs:
Lagoon Pond: framing inspection done. Insulation will start next week. Exterior decking in progress.
Mink Meadows: waiting on framing inspection due next week. Siding and front porch being completed. Rough electric and rough plumbing in place.
Meshacket Wood, Edgartown the grading has been completed. Excavation being completed. The engineer will be staking the hole next week. Then the footings will be put in place.
Curtis Lane, Edgartown: the crew is preparing to lay the hardwood floor next week. The exterior siding has been completed and the decking is nearing completion. The painters have begun. Tile work nearing completion. The counter tops have been installed by Skyline Marble and Granite. The custom built in cabinets in progress.
In Vineyard Haven West Chop we recently finished installing new sliding doors and other exterior doors to the home!
In East Chop, Oak Bluffs we have a restoration project we are currently planning with new roof, porch, structural work for underneath the home. Re-designing some of the interior.
We have recently had meetings with the next three clients. Soon we will start working on designing their new property and permitting.
Staying busy and trying to stay warm is our focus for January this year!!
